The Foundation is part of the wider PSGVPM ecosystem and carries the name of the Mandal's founder, Annasaheb P. K. Patil. A dedicated Foundation website is planned as a separate project; this page is an introduction only.
What the Mandal's records show
The Mandal's records describe three of the Foundation's activities.
- A yearly honour. On 9 October, the founder's birth anniversary, observed as किसान दिन (Farmers' Day) and a day of reflection, the Foundation presents the Purushottam Puraskar — one award to an individual and one to an organisation — for notable work in the social, educational and research fields. The Puraskar and its awardees, 2003–2026.
- A yearly health camp. On the founder's birth anniversary a health-check camp is organised together with community associations. In 2018, at the Mandal's engineering college, doctors from Nashik, Jalgaon, Dhule and Nandurbar examined patients through the day, and medicines were given free to those in need.
- An ambulance for patients. The Foundation bought a dedicated ambulance to serve patients.
