Privacy notice
This notice explains what information this website handles, which outside services it uses and why, and how enquiries sent to the Mandal office are dealt with.
The short version
- This website does not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies, and it does not set any cookies of its own.
- It uses a few Google services: fonts on every page, the Mandal's own Google Sheet on the News & Events page, Google Maps only if you ask to see the map, and Google Forms for enquiries.
- If you send an enquiry, the details you give are used to reply to you and for the Mandal's office records.

Visiting the website
Like any website, the pages are delivered by a web server. The hosting provider's servers may record standard technical details of each request, such as the address of the device making it, the page requested, the time and the type of browser, as part of normal operation and security.
The site's typefaces are delivered by Google Fonts, so your browser contacts Google's servers when a page loads. Google receives the technical details any server receives with such a request, including your device's internet address. Google describes its handling in its own privacy policy.
News & Events
The News & Events page reads the Mandal's own Google Sheet, which the Mandal office publishes for this purpose. When that page opens, your browser requests this information from Google (docs.google.com), so Google receives your internet address. Any pictures on the page are served by this website. Links to the Mandal's public social-media posts open on that platform only when you choose them. The requests to Google are made without sending cookies or the address of the page you are on.
To avoid downloading the same updates repeatedly, the page keeps a copy of them in your browser's session storage for up to 5 minutes. This copy contains only the published updates, never anything about you, and your browser removes it when you close the tab.
Maps
The Contact page offers a Google Map of the Mandal's location. The map is not loaded until you choose “Show the map”. Once it is loaded, or if you follow a link that opens Google Maps, Google provides the map under its own terms and privacy policy and may use cookies.
Enquiries
The enquiry form is a Google Form belonging to the Mandal's own Google account; it opens on Google Forms. It asks for your name, a mobile number, and optionally an email address and your city or location, together with the nature of your enquiry, the institution it concerns if any, and your message. Please do not include sensitive personal information such as identity-document numbers, bank details or health information.
The responses are stored in the Mandal's Google account and are seen by the Mandal office staff who handle enquiries. They are used to reply to you, to pass an enquiry to the institution concerned where that is needed to answer it, and for the Mandal's office records. They are not sold, and they are not used for advertising.
Google provides the form service and processes the responses for the Mandal; Google Forms may set its own cookies when you open the form. If you would rather not use the form, you can write to or call the office instead.
To ask what the Mandal holds about you from an enquiry, or to ask for it to be corrected or deleted, write to info@psgvpmandal.com.

This site links to the websites of the Mandal's colleges and to social-media platforms. Those websites are run separately and have their own privacy practices.
Changes to this notice
If the website's use of information changes, this notice will be updated and the date at the top revised.
